As noted previously, veteran wrestler Tommy Dreamer announced his exit from TNA Wrestling this morning. Dreamer announced his departure on Busted Open Radio, noting that he had a conversation with TNA President Carlos Silva and that both parties agreed to part ways mutually.
Dreamer had been with the promotion since 2018. In addition to being an on-screen talent, a backstage producer, and a talent relations executive, the veteran headed the creative team.
Fightful Select is now providing more details behind his exit. According to the latest report, Dreamer’s creative ideas had come under heavy scrutiny from several TNA stars in recent years, despite him being seemingly well-liked by many. The report adds that Carlos Silva had a discussion with Dreamer yesterday, i.e., Tuesday, June 16, following which the move was executed.
411Mania will provide more updates on the evolving situation as and when they are available.
